It's a lot easier to set your goals and start your action plans in March than it is in January. The pressure of those new year's resolutions is finally gone. Now, you can really focus on your goals, and visualize what you want to achieve for the rest of the year!
Make your dreams a reality
ONE: Visualize and Commit - Write down your goals
When you write down your goals, you're able to visualize exactly what you want and articulate to yourself exactly what you want to achieve.
Writing down your goals also helps make them a tangible - you are more likely to be committed to your goals when you write them down.
Find some quiet time. Make a cup of tea, and set up your space with a candle or flowers. Then, pick up an inspirational journal, and start writing!
TWO: Create your Action Plan
Now that you have your goals, figure out how you'll get there! What steps do you need to take to make your goals and dreams a reality?
Give each step a due date - that way you know when you need to get things done!
Write down some metrics - How will you know you accomplished something?
There's no greater joy that crossing out an item on your to-do list! By writing down the steps you can take pleasure in crossing them out when you've accomplished them!
THREE: Stay Real
Look back at your goals, and action plan. You're probably busy, and juggling a million things at a time! Is it realistic given all the other things in your life?
Don't be too hard on yourself! You're probably not going to become a morning person overnight or be able to work out 7 days a week if you're not used to it. Make your plans realistic so you don't set yourself up for failure.
FOUR: Reward yourself
Congratulations - You've made a plan! That is step number one towards your goal of world domination!
Now it's time to stay motivated and follow your plans!
